Coach Humm graduated from Breckenridge where he participated in Track and Field and Cross Country. His senior year, he served as the team captian and ran in the State Finals in Cross Country. He graduated from Baker College of Owosso with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology Management and Internet Security. He served as the State President of the Michigan FFA and returned to coach several FFA teams to State Chamionships and on to the National level. He is currently employed at the Gratiot-Isabella Regional Education Service District as the Manager of Network Services. Coach Humm was also an assistant coach for the Huskies before taking the Head Coaching Position.

Coach James graduated from Breckenridge in 2001, participating in Cross Country and Track, serving as captain in both. He graduated from Hope College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Art Degree in K-12 Physical Education and a Minor in Psychology. Coach James was a member of the Varsity Track Team while enrolled at Hope. In the previous year he has completed 8 marathons and hopes to run 10 more by December of 2009. In 2008 he ran over 3000 miles and hopes to approach 3500 miles for 2009. Yes, he is crazy! Coach James is also an assistant coach in the fall during Cross Country season. This is Coach James second year with the Varsity Track Team.

Coach Shelley graduated from Breckenridge in 2004 where he participated in Track and Field. His senior year, he served as a Team Captain in Track and Field. Both his junior and senior years of Track he participated in the Meet of Champions at Central Michigan University. His junior year he took fifth in the Shotput and his senior year he took third in the Shotput and fifth in the discus. He also finished his senior year with a second place finish in the Shotput at the League Meet. He is currently attending Delta College where he will finish his Associate’s Degree in Chemical Process Technology. This is Coach Shelley's second year on the Breckenridge Varsity Boys Track Coaching Staff.
