In a dual meet hosted by Freeland, Breckenridge defeated Millington 76 to 56. The strong leadership of the upperclassman was backed with supporting points from the underclassmen. Some keys to success was winning 3 of the 4 Relays (400, 800, and 3200) along with individual 1st place finishes in the 1600 (Konrad Bushre – 5:23.07), the 3200 (Konrad Bushre – 12:12.20), Long Jump (Jake Gulick – 17’ 11.5”), Pole Vault (Robert Lown – 12’ 9”), and the High Jump (Cory Niederstadt – 5’ 10”). The strong distance group brought home big points in the distance races sealing the win for the Huskies.
